We originally set out to create Life Towne Center to be a place for veterans, spouses and their families.

As we continued to recognize some of our community’s shortcomings in St Charles Parish, we realized the scope of our idea could be much larger, and provide this sense of community for our town at large.

Our goal, initially, was to build a community for veterans to find camaraderie, a place to belong -- and be served after serving!

Our goal has now evolved to provide a live-work-play community in St. Charles, New Orleans and surrounding areas.



St. Charles Parish is a beautiful place to live, but there isn't much to do here.

That's why when residents and tourists visit Yelp to search for things to do, they only find one: the Destrehan Plantation.

That’s not a draw for anyone and signals a dearth of community and entertainment activities here.



With more than 120,000 residents in the Tri Parish area, you'd think the most basic amenities -- things almost everyone has access to -- would come to St. Charles Parish.

But we don't even have a franchise coffee shop!

We also lack the proper environment that encompasses work and play, forcing residents to venture outside the area for just about everything.


Life Towne Center will solve all of these problems -- and go above and beyond -- by developing 10-acre mixed use planned community.

Our goal is to expertly emphasize the pedestrian scale of a mixed-use community built in a village center theme.



Life Towne Center’s development will consist of:

Plus business services for printing, shipping, marketing
and other professional services

Our entertainment mix would include:

An event venue
(for weddings, engagement parties, birthday parties, anniversary parties and more)


Co-Executive Director & Operations Director

Raney has been a Senior Area Manager (SAM) managing a sales territory in Louisiana for five years and more than 20 in corporate leadership.  Providing daily business analysis to small to medium businesses, Raney has improved their business operations, profitability, developed strategic tax plans, asset protection, estate planning and exit strategy planning. 


  • Managed 16 departments to optimize organizational performance and increase social impact; Supervised 30-40 vendors and sub-contractors across up to 4 simultaneous projects; Led a company of 4 to build a portfolio of residential construction resulting in $750K revenue


  • Provided end-to-end operations support, including facility services, administration, and treasury; Served as an Operations Co-Lead in managing 7 departments and growing membership by 25%; Managed educational programs for faith-based courses, annual summer sessions, and youth socials’ Oversaw an 8-month construction and master planning of a 5,200 square-foot facility

Customer Service

  • Contracted with 2 medical hospitals to provide 40-60 hours/week of support

Attended to the most critical units of triage care, post-anesthetic, critical care, and intensive care; Determined treatment, method, precautions, medication and dosages, compatible with physicians' orders; Provided care to the most critical units of care, including intensive care, and post-operative patients

Co-Executive Director

Dr. Carla Antoine, is a retired U.S. Navy Hospital Corpsman with a 14-year career in the US Navy including tours in Iraq and Kuwait. Since retiring, she has worked tirelessly for veterans and was responsible for re-engaging many Louisiana-based Veteran-owned small businesses in obtaining verification and re-verification through the Veteran's First Contracting Program. Dr. Antoine was recognized as the Small Business Administration of Louisiana’s Veteran’s Small Business Person of the Year in 2017.  Her responsibilities include:

  • Assist the Operations Director in overseeing daily operations, project planning and special events, working closely with each program coordinator
  • Together with the Operations Director: Personnel management (recruitment, hiring, training, evaluation and termination of staff)
  • Program development
  • Supervision of entertainment staff; Develop network of support within the community
  • Develop and implement outreach program


Entertainment Director

  • Provides leadership and operational direction for Event Services, Arena Conversion, and Event Services/Production departments within the Life Towne Center Campus
  • Provides leadership and direction to ensure all events are produced in an efficient and timely manner
  • Selects, contracts with, and monitors work of qualified professionals for the various outsourced operations and equipment suppliers
  • Develops Operational and Capital budgets for all technical equipment and event services used to produce live events
  • Oversees all audiovisual equipment and services provided by or installed ion the campus
  • Develops effective working relationships with local entertainment venues and personnel in St. Charles Parish

Event Planner

  • Provides leadership and Operational direction for Event Services
  • Responsible for all aspects of Event Planning &  Conference Services
  • Assist in developing a network of support within the community
  • Assist in developing and implementing the outreach programs to gain new customers

Marketing | Photography | Web Development

  • IT Director
  • Conduct Social Media landscape audits for Life Towne Center and their various clients
  • Manage Social Media Content
  • Oversee production Life Towne Center PSA photo shoot/film
  • Assist in execution of campaign activation
  • Build production schedules for marketing materials

  • Provide property management services 
  • Commercial Lease Services​
  • Oversee the daily activities associated with property management
