Upon request, select varieties of our creamy, decadent and flavorful ice cream can also be prepared in lactose-free, vegan, gluten-free or low-sugar/no sugar alternatives to satisfy special dietary needs.

Mikey Likes It Ice Cream combines the best, locally sourced ingredients from New York to create a product that is new, refreshing and unlike any other in today's food industry. A sampling of the flavors that Mikey will be introducing include: Ice Ice Baby (Mikey's Signature triple vanilla ice cream), Southern Hospitality (pie crust ice cream, praline pecans, crushed homemade pecan pie), Jack & Jill (crunchy peanut butter ice cream and strawberry preserves), Pretty In Pink (Mikey's Signature strawberry ice cream with balsamic vinegar macerated strawberries), Mint Condition (fresh mint ice cream with triple chocolate fudge brownies) and Cool Runnings (fresh coconut ice cream with fresh coconut shavings and milk and dark chocolate-covered almonds). Aside from our seasonal rotation of delectable flavors, we offer customized flavors: you name it, we’ll make it!

Mikey explains, "We're just trying to push the boundaries of what companies are doing with ice cream, while building lasting relationships with local business owners, entrepreneurs and other great people." In addition to providing rich and delicious dessert, our customers get an opportunity to improve the life of inner-city youth, beginning with New York and eventually expanding to other states. We donate a portion of every purchase to local schools. This will help the schools facilitate educational and recreational trips on a more frequent basis. These trips will cover a range of topics and help the children explore their limitless options. Mikey measures a man’s success not by how much he makes but by how much he gives. He has made it a point to give back and to help strengthen the community by using the ice cream as a tool for positive reinforcement.

Mikey Likes It Ice Cream is a small and completely homegrown business and we are proud of all we have been able to accomplish with such limited resources. This journey literally started on our kitchen countertops. The support, however, of our family, friends and community has provided us with a wealth of opportunities. We have been embraced with such genuine love and enthusiasm that we can't wait to take things to new heights and become a beacon of success in our hometown. To reach our ultimate goal of opening up a Mikey Likes It Ice Cream Shop in the heart of the Lower East Side, we need your help. Reaching our target on Fundable would allow us the opportunity to meet the demand for our product and help Mikey Likes It Ice Cream grow in more ways than one. • Purchase an industrial ice cream filling machine. This will dramatically reduce the production time without compromising the quality of the product.
• Purchase two blast chillers that maintain the core temperature of the ice cream during transition from preparation to package.
• Purchase two large batch freezers to house the ice cream.
• Purchase branded supplies and help secure a retail property, increasing our reach within the community and beyond.

At Mikey Likes It Ice Cream, we are not just dreamers. Many people have a vision to own and operate their own businesses but lack the ambition and drive to see those ideas through to realization. We've put every ounce of effort and determination into what we've done to this point and what we look forward to achieving.
