We embrace the artisanal spirit of craftsmen across the world by focusing on primarily handcrafted items and add fair trade and sustainable vendors that make sense for our product assortment.

Our Philantrophy

Through our branding, we love our pop-up events where we pair shopping with charity and bring the MOSAIC brand to life for face-to-face interaction with our customers. We also donate a percentage of the evening's sales to a charity of the founder's choice. Some of the charities we have donated to include:

-Tigerlily Foundation for breast cancer awareness.

-The MacDella Cooper Foundation to help build Liberia's first tuition-free school for orphans.

-The African Women's Cancer Awareness Association.

-The World Bank Margaret McNamara Educational Fund to provide higher education scholarships for women in the developing world.

A seasoned retailer by trade, Chioma Amegashie has always been passionate about beautiful product, exotic travels and global sophistication. Born and raised in Monrovia, Liberia, and having lived in major cities all across the U.S., and also Europe, Chioma has integrated her unique brand of style under MOSAIC distinctive global chic, inspired by her journeys across Africa, Europe, North America, the Caribbean and Asia. MOSAIC www.shopmosaiconline.com was born and bred in Oakland, California. With a strong eye for the unexpected and her vision to create an innovative platform to celebrate contemporary global artistry, MOSAIC brings exciting craftsmanship from unique artisans and emerging talent straight to you. Chioma began her merchandising career as a buyer with Marshall Field’s Department Stores (now Macy's) in Minneapolis, Minnesota in junior footwear. She also served as Footwear Merchandiser for San Francisco-based global retailer, Esprit de Corp. As a Senior Buyer in Housewares with Mervyns Department Stores prior to founding MOSAIC, Chioma honed extensive marketing, sourcing, and product development experience. Chioma also recently worked as a Buyer for global home furnishings leader Pier 1 Imports. Chioma earned her Bachelor’s of Business Administration in Marketing from the University Of Wisconsin-Madison School Of Business in 1996.
