devin has been a hobby computer gaming enthusiast since he was old enough to insert the floppy disk into the b drive to launch montezuma's revenge on his apple iie. he was born smack in the middle of 8 other brothers and sisters and raised in the boonies of apple valley, ca where he dug massive pits (covered with wood roofs & reburied of course) as a child to serve as forts in fictional defense situations, protecting the homeland. he also worked tirelessly to map out the already documented mountain range of the mariana mountains for posterity, though the maps have since been lost, rendering the 8 year old's labors of redundancy quite obsolete and that much more futile. his proudest accomplishment prior to adulthood was the invention (patent still pending) of the pvc pipe fort lookout tube (no, not a periscope... we couldn't afford angles back then). his biggest regret as a child is not gaining admission into the esteemed and exclusive secret society of "the limsocks" because his stupid brothers wouldn't let him. his proudest accomplishment as an adult is not really from anything he did - but more from a mix of undeserved luck and divine blessing - the partnership with his amazing and beautiful wife amanda and their life together with their 4 kind, fun-loving, awesome kiddos. devin and his family moved to redlands in 2013 to be closer to the loma linda university medical center. their oldest had severe heart disease - and despite multiple surgeries, her health was slipping more each day. in the summer of 2019, their daughter was blessed with renewed life from a family that donated their son's heart in a successful transplant operation at the medical center! devin has worked in restaurants for the past 15 years, most recently as a director of operations charged with opening new restaurants nationwide for a fast-casual concept. as the current climate has slowed growth in the restaurant industry, he is excited to take his expertise in making people smile from their experiences for lunch and dinner and apply it to making folks smile with a personalized virtual gaming experience!

amanda was born in in canada and raised in london. we have to warn you that her lack of a british accent may be dissapointing if you didn't know that there is a london in ontario... she spent a lot of time in beautiful and green north carolina in her teenage years before coming to the desert to experience what a complete lack of greenery felt like. she finally was able to exercise her charitable energy to rescue devin from drying out in a field of yuccas. beyond her impressive skills in entrepreneurship as a master custom cake maker (seriously, she's good), she is experienced in client relations, event planning, child education and office management. she loves that she now can spend some of her time being a homeschool teacher to her children. her many hobbies include all sorts of crafting, decorating, party and event planning, costume creation, bringing smiles to her friends and family, memory book and video creation, camping, world travel (*ok, she hates planning the travel part, but always has a great time when devin does the pre-work), crochet, board games, destroying devin on tony hawk pro skater, and being caught as the imposter on among us.

olivia was thrust into a world that has tried to toss obstacles at her feet since day 1, but her determined attitude (that started well before she could even crawl) to not be a victim of the odds has helped her on her journey of life. she was given a 50% chance of survival to make it to her fifth birthday. at 8 years old, she was given another 50% chance of making it to her teenage years - and only a 20% chance to make it to her 18th. well, thanks to devine grace, a gift of a donor heart, and the healing hands at loma linda university medical center, she is thriving! the odds have completely flipped and she has never felt better! she is a genuine and gracious teenager, bringing joy to so many people in so many different ways. she is a skilled childcare provider, children's theater director, and a creative mastermind. her many hobbies include art (sketch, acrylics, chalk), music (guitar and some ukulele!), making her sims fight each other, and preparing elaborate rebuttals to maternal talking points.

devin was born with a curious spirit, and has a thirst for knowledge. he enjoys learning about new topics - anywhere from cool facts about the animal kingdom to how to build a game boy out of an altoids tin. he is the kind of guy that looks at something broken and says - "let me fix that!" his man-cave is filled with gadgets and decor that he has constructed himself (and a lot of holes from his various mounting methods over the years, but hey....) he is also a video-game enthusiast who has an appreciation for the classics and modern releases. he enjoys designing levels, creating worlds, racking up achievements, and trying to beat his dad in mario kart. if you see devin in his element - he is almost always seen accompanied by his faithful furry companion, bear! he is a good boi! he is also not an actual bear... he is a dog. a perfectly 'normal-to-have-as-a-pet-so-please-don't-freak-out-and-call-animal-control-because-you-think-he-actually-owns-a-wild-animal... "dog."' :-)

avery is a roller-skating, biking, scootering, dancing, slip-n-sliding bundle of energy! she is determined as she is passionate. she loves to express herself through various forms of crafting & creating - from making cards and books to creating her own family board games! she is a giver by nature and enjoys giving her creations to her friends, family and neighbors! her favorite video game is roblox (don't even try to outplay her!) but she's no stranger to dominating others as well. oh, btw she has been known to take video games and transform them to real life games (ever tried real-life among us!?) avery is also an up and coming baker who is always excited to try out different recipes (if you ever have a chance to try her from-scratch brownies, you'll want to remember to sit down as they may sweep you off your feet!) she has caught on to this whole 'big sister' thing super fast and has a heart for making people feel happy and appreciated.

remember the very first time you saw a post-credit bonus scene? like, you thought the movie was over, so you grabbed your jacket and started to walk out - and then.... **boom!!** there was a bonus scene that teased the sequel!?!? sure, you may feel a little awkward at first as you sit back down... but by the time you stand back up again, you feel super pumped for the next new superhero movie! well, that's how haven showed up, only there is slightly more popcorn spread all over the floor... her favorite pastime is books! she likes reading books, eating books, tossing books off of the bookshelf, stacking books, moving books from her room to the hallway, the toybox, the kitchen... oh, and she loves starting to read a book, then realizing that there is another book she would maybe like more... you do know what they say, "the children love the books!" she loves elmo, the letter of the day, the lorax (he speaks for the trees!), going for walks, the park, her mama, her fam, cheerios, going to see her cousins, broccoli, tomatoes, and finding any way to roam around places she isn't 'supposed' to.
