Twila has been involved in mushing for since 1989. An active member of the Alaskan Malamute Club of America, she has mushed, shown, bred, and (most importantly) loved & been loved by Alaskan Malamutes for 25 years. With, literally, tens of thousands of miles on the runners as well as starting, operating & retiring from a successful dog related company, Twila brings both mushing and business skills to this endeavor.

After finishing her college degree in Adventure Education, focusing on guiding sled dog tours, Morgan moved to Park City, UT and ran tours there for a very popular and busy commercial dogsled touring business. She joined Twila in 2009 and ran races with all-malamute teams as well as guiding outdoor adventures. Pagosa Dogsled Tours is thrilled to have Morgan on board as our Head Guide.

Ashley has been involved in mushing and the malamute breed for over half of her life. She started at 10 years of age with a passion for sled dogs and a home made wooden sled that she crafted with her grandfather. By the time she was 13, she had 4 malamutes and was running them in team. She has added two more malamutes on her own team, and is currently training with Morgan and Twila to learn how to run larger teams. Ashley finished her NOLS degree and is certified as a Wilderness First Responder, and will assist Morgan this year in running tours. She will also be running the malamute race team, training for distance races in several states, including Alaska.
