QMENTA is an AI-powered, cloud-based, neuroimaging analysis solution that allows all stakeholders across the imaging continuum – researchers, drug developers, physicians - to harness the full potential of neuroimaging, thus leading to:

Over 1 billion people worldwide suffer from brain disease; neuroimaging scans (MRI, CT, and PET) are vital to successful diagnosis and treatment since they allow researchers and physicians to “see” inside the skull in real time, in rich detail, without an invasive procedure such as biopsy.

Why is medical imaging so underused?

  • Variability in underlying hardware, software, and systems architecture
  • Inability to integrate data from disparate sources drives need for tedious and expensive manual work; very difficult for researchers and medical professionals
  • Difficulty and delay in transferring data between different systems stifles collaborations and partnerships, which are vital to research and clinical trials
  • Scans read via a subjective ‘eyeball’ approach, which is time-consuming and often inaccurate (40%+ of hospital malpractice lawsuits related to radiology misdiagnosis)

There needs to be a way to collect, store, and quantify imaging data in one system that:

  • Removes technological barriers to utilization through automation, drag and drop, one button activation, etc.
  • Integrates seamlessly with existing workflows
  • Meets US and EU industry standards for data privacy and securit

QMENTA’s integrated solution enables researchers and clinicians to study, diagnose and treat brain disease with certainty and speed -- anywhere, anytime

How?  QMENTA’s integrated solution consists of two critical components:

With minor refinements, the technology QMENTA developed to transform neuroimaging can - and has been - tailored to help in the battle against coronavirus

QMENTA chosen for MS Global Data Sharing Initiative

  • The Multiple Sclerosis Data Alliance (MSDA) and the Multiple Sclerosis International Federation (MSIF) launched a global research initiative to rapidly bring evidence-based insights about the effect of COVID-19 on patients with MS and to update the clinical guidance for treatment.
  • QMENTA was chosen to be the central platform for the data management and analysis from a long list
  • QMENTA was chosen due to its proven ability to rapidly aggregate and standardize big data from multiple sources in an organized, accessible and compliant manner

QMENTA has launched ConquerCovid

  • QMENTA is providing its database & platform to other research initiatives focused on developing AI algorithms to fight COVID-19
  • QMENTA already has tens of thousands of CT and X-ray images in the platform
  • Partnership discussions are underway with multiple institutions, including world class institutions such as Massachusetts General Hospital and University College London.
  • QMENTA has secured an IRB ethical waiver for the initiative (Western IRB), making it easier to have others involved as they will not need to seek IRB approval themselves

QMENTA engineered it´s integrated solutions to not only solve the complexities of neuroimaging, but to also to remove technological barriers to its use. Thus, the solution is cloud based, and uses kubernetes for infinite automatic scalability, it is web-based for simple access, and offers an intuitive interface that makes its powerful functionality easy to use
