At Restaurant Funding America, LLC we work side by side with the restaurants of Main Street America to assist in advancing their mission (owning and operating a successful restaurant or restaurants).

We are a well-rounded consulting practice with deep roots delivering value to the restaurant industry, by helping them create capital.

There are two general paths to create capital for a business enterprise:
Internally Generated Capital and Externally Generated Capital
Internally Generated Capital comes from increasing revenue, increasing margins, and reducing costs, while externally generated capital comes from either equity (ownership capital) or debt (loans and leases).

We at Restaurant Funding America LLC assist the restaurants of Main Street America with their efforts on both paths. We always recommend that internally generated capital be the first path, as it is the most cost effective, and externally generated capital work in support of that internally generated capital.

Team

Michael Schumacher - Managing Member/CEO

Foodservice executive and consultant with deep financial experience. 


Michael spent 20+ years in leadership roles at national and regional foodservice distributors (privately held and publicly held, to include the industries major players) and supply chain organizations, focusing on supply chain, internal renewal (turnaround) and M&A efforts. Mike has held roles ranging from VP, to SVP, to COO, to CFO, to National Director of Supply Chain. Mike has a deep knowledge and understanding of food and supply chain costs, along with innovative solutions to margin improvement and cost reduction. Additionally, Mike has a thorough knowledge of capital markets and innovative financing solutions. He has been in private practice since 2007. He has led high performance teams in marketing, sales, supply chain, operations, finance, strategic planning, training, and leadership. He has a BA, MBA, and a Doctorate of Business Administration (abd).


Brad Hogan - Member

Brad is marketing leader experienced in the food service industry and capital finance. 


Brad’s background and education are both in sales and marketing. Brad was part of the sales management team for one of the largest privately held food brokerage companies in the United States. He has spent the last 5 years in private practice focused on delivering innovative financing solutions to the businesses of Main Street. He holds a BA in marketing from the University of New Mexico and gained extensive experience as the Director of Marketing for a large foodservice brokerage firm in the Southwestern United States.
