Product/Service Details

RVspotfinder.com was founded by Nathan Smith in 2013 out of frustration at not being able to easily locate, review and book an RV spot online. Rvspotfinder provides an online platform to campgrounds and RV parks, giving them the ability to create an online presence and marketing tool for their business. The RVspotfinder platform incorporates a cloud based Campground Management System with payment processing and inventory control allowing for live real-time reservations. An API will allow any consumer marketing site to utilize the content provided by the campground and RV parks to display available sites for consumers to review, reserve and purchase 24 hours a day.

“In 1991, the founders of hotels.com decided it was time to revolutionize the way millions of people search, review and book hotels. In 2016, we are enabling the $5 Billion a year RV & Camping Industry to do the same.”--Nathan Smit

How We're Different

We are enabeling RV parks and Campgrounds to easily load and allow for online real-time reservations via online travel sites just as the hotel industry did years ago.  To date the barrier of entry has been expensive and inadaquate technology that does not easily integrate with 3rd party consumer sites and payment providers.

RVspotfinder is knocking down these barriers by providing a cloud based Campground Management System with integrated payment processing and API based integrations to hundreds of 3rd party sites.

Use of Funds

We have invested over $1.4MM in market research and product development.  We are currently raising an additional $250k to assist with additional development, technical staff and customer acquisition.  We have found that our average cost to acquire is approximatly $600 per property with an annual return of $2,700.  Our metric is to acquire a minimum of 1,000 properties in 2015.  We currently have a back log of 200 properties we are working to bring onboard.

I put all the code I can up on my GitHub profile.
