Quick Pitch

Shan Orchard is Southeast Asia's first avocado oil producer with a 34-acre campus filled with avocado trees, avocado oil factory, and drinking water bottling factory.  As the pioneer of the avocado oil market in Myanmar, Shan Orchard is inviting investors to become a part of the largest avocado oil company in Asia with a potential ROI of 2X over the next 3-5 years.  In 2024 YTD, Shan Orchard revenues increased by 94% compared to 2023 and owns 100% of the local avocado oil market share.  Using this strong momentum as a tailwind, we have an aggressive growth strategy to stay ahead of the competition and increase shareholder value.

The demand for avocados and avocado oil continues to grow globally but no large Asia-based avocado oil company exists.  Myanmar’s comparative advantage in growing avocados and Shan Orchard’s avocado oil production capabilities present a rare window of opportunity to dominate Asia avocado oil markets while supplying into other markets.  Global avocado oil market size is projected to grow from $637M in 2024 and $1.1B by 2032. Asia is projected to have the highest Compounded Annual Growth Rate (CAGR) of 8% over the 2024-2031 period, and Asia already makes up 23% of global revenue.

Product/Service Details

We started the avocado oil market in Myanmar for cooking and cosmetics use.  We have the first-mover advantage of producing highly popular avocado oil at low cost using solar energy and local labor/raw materials. Shan Orchard currently has 100% local market share where demand for avocado oil exceeds supply.  Our current products range from extra virgin & crude avocado oil to personal care avocado oil-based products (shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, soap, body lotion, sunscreen, lip balm, hair oil, body serum, body scrub, facial mask, pain relief balm) and bottled drinking water.

Traction & Accomplishments

Shan Orchard has achieved profitablity as of 2024 while operating at 10% of our production capacity, and demand for our avocado oil exceeds supply even in the young local market.  We have export orders from one of the largest avocado oil companies in the world - Grove of New Zealand.

Because Myanmar is unknown to most countries, many investors are missing the opportunity.  We are seeking investors who accept local risks but recognize the rare business opportunity to fund Shan Orchard in becoming a major supplier of avocado oil in Asia.  Our product is export-ready with a 2-year shelf life, which presents lower risk than other perishable agricultural goods.  With your investment in Shan Orchard, we believe our growth can be significantly accelerated.

How We're Different

We have a disciplined and committed management team on the ground, and we operate to international standards with our HACCP and GlobalGAP certifications.  Management is very confident in mitigating the risks while facilitating efficient and effective execution of our business plan.  We are the only agri-business invested by an institutional private equity firm (Anthem Asia based in Singapore) in Myanmar due to our Environmental Social Governance (ESG) compliance according to International Financing Corporation (IFC) standards.  We have successfully completed 3 development projects with USAID and achieved game-changing economic impact by creating a new avocado oil industry in Myanmar and a market for "small and ugly" avocados, which previously would rot and go to waste.
