That energy is converted into electricity that can be used to charge batteries and to run various equipment, including the Supervisory Control And Data Acquisition (SCADA) System, directly at the well site. Significantly less costly and more reliable than the alternatives on the market, our generator solves many of the operational, cost, and energy problems most remote gas well sites are faced with, affordably and efficiently.

Most gas well sites face the same problems: they are remotely located and off the power grid, making it difficult to obtain the amount of electrical power they need. Many facilities rely on costly and difficult to operate systems like solar power, thermoelectric generators, combustion generators, and wind, all of which present unique and costly problems of their own.

Technologies like solar power and gas burning generators come at a high cost and are accompanied by built-in limitations.

Gas drilling companies had suspended expansion because of changing price of gas.  Now, however,  they are beginning to put more drilling rigs into service. An increased number of rigs means an increased need for power, a need that can’t be met with economically and practically at many well sites. Combine these obstacles with the increasing costs of new electric power line installation, which ranges from $120-150K per mile, and you can begin to understand the nearly unsolvable problem facing remote sites like gas wells, sites whose function is important for people everywhere.

The industry has been trying and failing to solve its energy problem for years, but all of their solutions, even the green ones like solar and wind electric, have failed to effectively and efficiently meet their increasing demands. With a generator design that uses the well’s existing flow of gas through a pipe to make the electricity needed to run the facility, Tazman Turbinz finally has the answer.

Using the gas production system that is already in place, our technology is as simple as replacing a two-foot section of one of the system’s six-inch pipes with our energy generating units. The flow of the gas through the system turns rotors inside the pipe, which in turn spins magnets that create a magnetic flux that transmits power through the pipe wall and into coils arranged around the outside. Through this process, the electricity is converted to DC power and regulated to handle battery charging and other loads.

There’s a critical market need, and we’re the innovative solution here to meet it.

While there are many different energy options on the market, none are as cost effective as ours. Tazman Turbinz’ solution is 30-50% less expensive than the alternative technologies available to drilling companies and much more reliable.

Lightning Master Corporation, an affiliated company, has the ability to ramp up its manufacturing capacity to 100-200 per month.  LMC's sales and marketing organization has extensive contacts and relationships to support the sales of the turbine worldwide. We are also also exploring several rep opportunities both domestically and internationally.

The innovative technology behind the initial version of our unit has two Patents, one issued and one pending, Notice of Allowance already issued. This allows us to offer customers a system that has greatly increased reliability and lower maintenance costs and requirements while keeping the acquisition cost highly competitive.

Tazman Turbinz’ energy recovery system continues to be tested and developed in real environments. There are 20 companies who have expressed serious interest in our units.

A major gas exploration and production company in Pennsylvania is presently testing a beta unit on one of their wells in WV. They have plans to use this technology to replace the solar cells that they currently use. A major operator in Canada also has plans to replace their solar and thermal-electric generators, which power over 2,000 wells, with our new technology.

Our initial product development is complete. However, we also intend to implement incremental improvements to refine the current version and further develop our system for other environments. Tazman Turbinz’ green power generator systems are the ideal solution for the over 25,000 wells in need of electrical power, but it has the potential to benefit many different kinds of off the power grid locations, including oil wells, pipeline interchanges with local gas companies and chemical and water movement facilities.

In addition to current Tazman Turbinz in-pipe project, Bruce has developed and patented numerous technologies in lightning protection, grounding, bonding, power generation, and wind mitigation. His previous accomplishments include the successful WindTripper system.

George has extensive experience in M&A for a major overseas conglomerate, and experience in establishing and operating both domestic and overseas ventures.

An electrical engineer, Lee has over 20 years of experience working with oil and gas companies in Research & Development.

Bryon has many years of experience working with and selling product and services to the oil and gas community. He has overall responsibility for bringing the In-pipe generator to the marketplace.

A former member of the US military, Bill has experience with the instrument and electronics of various military systems as well as project management.

An aviation specialist, Dewayne is an airframe and powerplant certified mechanic and brings that experience to the generator project.
