We are here to help people improve their physical and mental conditioning, in order to improve their quality of life.  Our typical clients come to us with little or no strength or stability in their “core” muscles.  Over time, this will result in weakness in other areas of the body, lack of energy, poor posture, back and neck problems, and a lack of flexibility.

We begin by helping the client to strengthen their core muscles; ultimately strengthening every major muscle group in the body.  We also improve posture, balance, flexibility, and focus.

All our services are provided at our Studio, located in Roswell, Georgia.  We work with our clients to help them assess their current physical condition, in addition to their goals and objectives.  Based on this information, we will recommend a specific exercise regimen or a combination of exercises forms, designed to help the client achieve their goals.

We use Pilates equipment from Balanced Body and TRX equipment from TRX.  Our physical therapy practice offers a specially designed Pilates Reformer, designed to be used specifically with physical therapy patients.  We are the only Pilates/Wellness Studio in the area to offer our unique variety of services, including: 

We are the only Pilates/Wellness Studio in our geographic area in the more affluent Atlanta suburbs that offers the complete range of services described above.  We really care about our clients and “go the extra mile” for them. We had very successful corporate careers (prior to opening the Studio) that focused on sales and managing client relationships; as a result, we have a good understanding of what it takes to bring in new business, keep clients happy, and retain their business.  Owners of other studios typically do not have this type of experience - they may be teachers or trainers who have decided to take a shot at running their own business.  This gives us both a competitive and operational advantage.

We have made significant headway bringing our services to the community.  Here's what we have accomplished so far:

We have developed an excellent reputation within our service area; we are now a "known quantity." Revenue and client base has shown dramatic growth since the inception of our business.  

Starting from ground zero in August of 2009, our cumulative revenue stands at $554,864 as of 4/30/13; $212,591 generated in 2012; a 25.7% increase over 2011 revenue.  We have attracted more than 700 new clients since our inception date.

We have expanded our space and service offerings; now providing a full range of services focused on development of the core, in addition to each major muscle group in the body.

We have also received more than 700 "likes" on our Facebook page (averaging 5 new likes per day)

We recently received an Award of Excellence from Constant Contact as a top 10 % user of their services.

Our studio offers over 2,400 square feet of space, designed and equipped to provide our clients with a clean, pleasant, and inviting atmosphere in which they can complete their desired exercise program.  We offer the latest Pilates apparatus from Balanced Body, including:

• 6 Reformers with mat tower attachments
• 4 Exo Chairs
• 1 Cadillac
• 1 Ladder Barrel
• 1 Therapeutic Reformer with mat tower attachments.

Our TRX program offers 8 workstations, utilizing the latest in TRX equipment.  Our Kettlebell program utilizes “First Place” Vinyl Coated Kettlebells from Perform Better.  We also offer a variety of rubber encased dumbbells,  BOSU balance trainers, exercise bands, stability balls, foam rollers, and a Battling Ropes System.  Yoga and Pilates mats are provided by Balanced Body.

Allison Stone, CEO

Allison spent her career as a financial services consultant dealing with high net worth clients for more than 25 years. She is a Certified Pilates and TRX instructor. She makes all decisions regarding scheduling and class content, personnel changes, sales and marketing, and staff management.  

Arnold Stone, CFO

Arnold worked as a consultant and SVP for Aon Hewitt for 25 years. He handled client relationships of all sizes, up to and including Fortune 500 companies.  He won the Business Insurance Power Broker of the Year award in 2009 then retired at the end of 2010 to devote full time to The Core.  He is also a Certified Pilates Instructor and is responsible for all financial aspects of the business: banking, funding, financial reporting, and tax reporting.  He also assists with sales, marketing, and recruiting.
