Treata Smart Solutions is easing the burden for the millions of families caring for loved ones who need care with the revolutionary SmartCare Watch: a connected watch that monitors the whereabouts of its wearer and alerts family members and caregivers in the event of an emergency.

For most of those who act as caregivers to their loved ones, there’s no better feeling than giving back to those who have given so much to us.

But caregiving is also an emotional, stressful endeavor. While the reward is truly worth it, the facts remain:

Because of those responsibilities, caregiving is often a shared responsibility among family members.

Those families know that anything that can help provide a bit of relief or peace of mind can be a godsend.

Unfortunately, those solutions are few and far between. There is no comprehensive solutions  on the market that directly connects caregivers to their family members. There is nothing that connects professional caregivers to family members, either, or facilitates communication between the two.

Nothing, that is, until the Treata SmartCare Watch.

The SmartCare Watch is a combination hardware and software platform: a wearable device and a smartphone app that constantly monitors the location of your loved, alerting anyone you add to your circle of caregivers when your loved one wanders outside of a predetermined “safe zone,” or when they haven’t moved in some time.

No more getting lost, no more wondering where your loved one is.

You’ll never have to wonder about their whereabouts again.

The SmartCare Watch is a subtle, dignified and even stylish way to stay connected.

SmartCare Watch is a platform: a watch, a smartphone app and a subscription monitoring service. It works indoors and outdoors, and is constantly monitored so you always know where your loved one is.

Just place the watch on your loved one’s wrist, download the app and activate the subscription. We take care of the rest.

You can even add as many people as you like to your circle of caregivers, so anyone you approve of can be notified when he or she wanders.

If you employ a professional caregiver, our smartphone app even includes a built-in messaging feature for more effective communication between you and the caregiver.

The SmartCare Watch is almost ready for primetime: we’ve sent a few samples  to our main distributors in the US and Canada, and a trial run at an assisted living facility in Toronto has produced great results. We also have a good testimonial from one family living in GTA who have used the product for a test period.

Four other locations are also testing the device, giving us the feedback needed to perfect and refine the experience.

We’ve already received interest from the Alzheimer Store, Genesis HealthCare and Good Samaritan Society , and our production partner is in place.

Now, it’s time to bring relief to millions of caregivers worldwide.
