Trivol® FlameShield products are fire retardants for woods, insulation and MGO panels. These products can be used in apartments, assisted-living facilities, churches, hotels, office buildings, restaurants, schools, theaters, medical facilities, plus commercial and residential constructions – our products save lives and property and can be used virtually anywhere.

Trivol® FlameShield is tested and proven. As a fire retardant, Trivol® FlameShield is the first coating to pass the industry’s most severe test (Can/ULC S 101, ASTM E-119, UL 263, NFPA 251) showing the ability to prevent flame spread/flashover and penetration. Trivol® FlameShield has been certified and tested at an accredited third party Intertek Laboratories.

Trivol® FlameShield products are cost effective, water-based environmentally friendly and non-toxic. Because of its ease of application Trivol® FlameShield is a very cost effective method to provide fireproofing, often resulting in savings in material and labor, compared to traditional methods, which often require additional building materials, labor and time.

Our Trivol® FlameShield Panels are manufactured by the modular builder with Trivol® FlameShield powder manufactured in our Kansas City, Kansas plant. The product is packaged in 28 lb. bags and is mixed with water to produce five gallons of coating. Our margin is 66% on small quantities which gives us room to discount for large quantities. We have exceptional gross margins because of the technology of our products. They are no VOC’s (volitle organic compounds) in any of our products and exceed espectation for (green) qualifications.The sale cycle is long, but we have made one sizable sale and the same customer has committed to a much larger purchase order.

All of our competitors use intemesent coatings which have, at most, 1/2 hour rating. Our patent pending coating is ceramic and has a one hour fire rating on most substrates.
