I'm here to launch a NEW line of sunglasses called vibeWEAR.

I have always struggled to find the right pair of sunglasses.  I've owned Oakley's, Ray-Bans, and even Gucci sunglasses - all of which have been big disappointments.  Not only did my college wallet spend $$HUNDREDS on the "name brand" designs currently available, they would always disappoint me in terms of fit, and price.

The sunglass monopoly that Luxottica operates (which owns Ray-Ban and Oakley - it is their parent company) handles the design, manufacturing, pricing, and distribution of their branded (and EXPENSIVE) sunglasses. This results in prices that are WAY inflated, compared to the quality.

When was the last time you shelled out $150 for a pair of sunglasses - only to have them break, or lose them?  Don't you wish there was something of DESIGNER quality, without the DESIGNER price tag?

That's why I created vibeWEAR.

VIBE is a feeling. It's confidence, swagger and attitude that just so happens to come with UV protection and high fashion frames. What more do you want? A unicorn? They don't exist.

VIBE is real. It will help you move. If you invite it to a party, it will show up with four girls named after seasons or months. And when it doesn't work with "Summer", it will be there to tell you that there are plenty of fish and you are a catch.

I created vibeWEAR and the "Atlantis" collection because I wanted to offer something MUCH BETTER than the pieces of junk that you find in a Walmart, a gas station, or a drug store. Quality was a MAJOR concern for me.  I also wanted to make sure that the frames had a bold, fun, fashion statement, while also maintaining quality.

I wanted sunglasses I would want to bring to a party or wear at the beach but not have to worry about scratching them, losing them, etc.  Glasses that actually protect my eyes and look good at the same time - and that didn't cost me a semester's tuition at college.

My glasses feature scratch resistant, mirrored, UV400 frames, with polarized lenses (on certain models).  The shades themselves are injection molded designs and hinges - yeah, these things are sweet, and REALLY nice quality.

We have to raise money to get the rest of the molds created, and also do our first manufactures run. Right now we just have some sample prototypes, but need to finish the rest of the molds before Spring time for sunglass season.

I am a 27 year old entrepreneur from Grand Rapids, MI.  I've always been an entrepreneur at heart and have developed a few successful products - always solving a need, or filling a void.  I did the same thing in the eyewear industry with my company vibeWEAR.
