Traditional wake boarding offers hours of fun and entertainment for those lucky enough to own a boat or know someone who does. But getting out on the water may not be an option for everyone, and even if it is, conditions are not always ideal.

The X-Stream Wake Rider eliminates some of the tricky variables involved with traditional wake boarding—weather, water conditions, boat traffic—and provides a safe, consistent, controlled environment, leaving you free to focus on the experience of your ride.

If the X-Stream Wake Rider sounds familiar to you, you may be thinking of a similar product: the FlowRider, a "sheet wave" surf simulator that can be found in water parks, cruise ships, and resorts around the globe.

The FlowRider has controlled the market in extreme watersport simulation for the past 20 years, but the Wake Rider has a few key advantages that blow it out of, well, the water:

While the FlowRider is designed exclusively for surfing, the Wake Rider offers riders the chance to try wake boarding, wakeskating and boogie boarding. And yes, you can surf on it, too.

More Accessibility
The FlowRider can be a challenge for younger and less-skilled riders to master, but the Wake Rider offers a fun experience for riders of all ages and abilities.

The X-Stream Wake Rider features a patent-pending design based on mat-and-nozzle technology. There are six 125 horsepower submersible pumps that push a total of 144,000 gallons per minute through a 3-inch nozzle opening.

The nozzle produces a stream of water across the surface of the inflatable pool mat at speeds of up to 22 mph miles per hour — the ideal speed for wake boarding. The speed of the water can be adjusted to accomodate different skill levels, and the pool has 2 built-in simulated "wakes," exactly like the ones produced by a moving speedboat, for a truly authentic ride experience.

To complete the picture, the entire X-Stream Wake Rider is built for maximum safety: when riders fall or let go, they are washed into a 12-foot wide, 5-foot deep pool that returns the rider to shallow water, where they can exit the pool safely.

We've already had a number of people express interest in the X-Stream Wake Rider. Like a new sports car that hasn't rolled out yet, the Wake Rider looks great on paper, but they want to give it a test drive: see it, touch it, kick the tires.

And we're gearing up to give them the chance to do just that. The plans for the X-Stream Wake Rider are already complete, and we're teaming up with British company Ingenious Inflatables, who have agreed to build the air mats that are a crucial component of the X-Stream Wake Rider structure, and market the X-Stream Wake Rider across the UK and Europe once the Wake Rider is complete.

All that's left is to rent the pumps, build the mats and nozzles, and everything will be in place for the first prototype test-run of the X-Stream Wake Rider experience!

The X-Stream Wake Rider is by far the most confident he has been about any design he has ever created.

With a Bachelor’s degree in Communication, and an emphasis on Business and Marketing from Arizona State University, Tanner ventured into the world of sales and marketing starting at one of the largest social/technology companies in the U.S: Yelp Inc. Tanner firmly believes in the power of advertising and marketing to propel a company or product of any size into prosperity. Like his father, he believes that the X-Stream Wake Rider will make wake boarding instantly more accessible and enjoyable, bringing the sport to new heights of popularity and enjoyment.
