Unlike most existing social media sites, which began as text-only platforms, Yanpals is built around video from the ground up. It’s designed to make users’ streams and videos the main focus, not random memes, wordy rants or photographs devoid of context.

The video focus carries through to Yanpals’ direct messaging feature, which is equivalent to a video phone call, and carries much more depth of nuance than any typed chat message could ever hope.

By pulling all these features together in a simple-to-use peer-to-peer tech platform, we give users the opportunity to connect with the world of social media on their own terms, and in a flexible medium accessible to anyone with a webcam or cellular phone.

Joseph Okoro is the Chairman of Seagrace Oil & Gas Ltd. He has ventured into other business which he oversees from calabar. He has over a decade of experience in business management and a strong interest in ICT.

Obot Sylvanus Harry
Co-founder and MD/CEO
Obot Sylvanus recieved training in electronics/telecommunications, electrical engineering. He is born for technology. He developed innovative products such as public power automatic phase searchers, automatic change-over switches, phase failure detectors for industrial motors etc. He is also the Software Architect and CTO of YanPals.

Justus Inspire Oseuno
Co-founder and CXO
Justus Inspire is a User Experience Designer and he is the chief experience officer of the company. He handles the user experience design and concept development of the application. He worked briefly in the Advertising Industry as a creative director and has extensive knowledge in media. He is also a social media expert. With his understanding of user interaction design and user research, he has taken user experience to the next level.
