Our 50+ monthly classes, workshops and events cultivate physical, emotional and spiritual wellness, while our hand-picked selection of nutritional supplements and herbs help provide relief and support.

Your Big Picture Café is relocating to a bigger and better space in January 2015. It is with much love and gratitude that we are requesting to raise funds in order to keep supporting our heart-centered community as we evolve into our next best version!

Your Big Picture Cafe is a community center where our customers gather to socialize, study, conduct business meetings and attend classes and workshops. 

We provide our customers with:

• Organic, fair-trade coffee and tea
• Wraps and salads made by a neighboring cafe
• Natural, gormet or gluten-free pizza
• Baked goods crafted in nearby kitchens
• Over fifty classes, workshops and events throughout the month -- classes like yoga and meditation, workshops on healthy living, how to detox and financial wellness, as well as a weekly open mic and Sunday Jazz.
• Hand-selected nutritional supplements, herbs, homeopathy and aromatherapy
• Massage and wellness therapies
• Books and gifts

Your Big Picture Cafe is in our fifth operating year. We have a staff of eight highly-trained, top-level Team Members. Our customer database is over 10,000 and we send a weekly email newsletter to 7,500 of them. We have almost 2,500 followers on Facebook and a 4.5 star rating on Yelp.

We were voted and awarded by Local Channel 10 as the Best Place for a First Date in South Florida! (Our segment is at the 7:40 mark!).

Together with my father and my husband, I created Your Big Picture Cafe in Davie, Florida in memory of my mother, who passed in 2007 of metastatic colon cancer. Throughout my mother’s illness, I saw how important connection and love were to her recovery and health.  I saw the same thing with my customers at Whole Foods Market.  They craved conversation, compassion and guidance. The Café gives people a place to connect, breathe and step out of the everyday so that they can put things in perspective and ponder the important things in life.

Many people come into the café and say that they thought it was a framing shop, to which I reply, “If you’d like to frame your life, then you’re in the right place!” I believe there is a greater reason for everything, and if you stop and take the time to look, you might surprise yourself!

I use the "big picture" analogy, because it is the easiest way to convey the importance of stepping back in order to see how all of the little pieces of life fit together. In order to do that, people need to feel comfortable, safe and calm in a place that connects community, but feels like home.

Your Big Picture Café offers deeper solutions than you’re likely to find elsewhere. Yes, we have a supplement to help support your body during stress, and we also have a yoga class on Saturday, or Reiki on Thursday…oh, or there’s a workshop beginning on Wednesday that can give you tips on how to deal with stress. How far you take it is up to you.

This is, after all, YOUR Big Picture Café. A place for YOU to come and look…or not. Make it your own. Wherever you are is perfect. And, whether or not it’s clear to you, it is all unfolding as it should. ☺
