This week, we give an update on Owlet, an infant health tracker that is experiencing incredible growth through pre-sales and investor interest.

Owlet is an innovative wearable device helping new parents everywhere rest easy about the health and safety of their babies. The Owlet Smart Sock wirelessly transmits baby’s heart rate, oxygen levels and other important information to parents via smartphone, allowing them to monitor their baby’s vitals from anywhere. With $250,000 in presale revenue in just a few months, Owlet has received rave reviews from The Wall Street Journal, The Today Show, and TechCrunch, among others.

The Owlet team recently announced the close of a convertible seed round, raising $1,850,000 from angel investors and venture capitalists with experience in the health, mobile applications and hardware industries. As they prepare to launch their Series A, Owlet is looking for additional strategic investors for a small bridge round, which is already 44% funded.
