Business Plan Profile

Your Business Plan Profile is a private, protected portion of your profile that you can control access to. This will typically be an Executive Summary, your detailed fundraise terms, and any attached documents relating to your fundraise.

Learn more about what elements are used in the Business Plan profile.

Access Controlled by You

All visitors to your Public Profile will be able to view your pitch, your company background, and learn about your overall goals for the company. Any detailed information about your strategy, detailed fundraising terms, and business plan information is available only to Investors who you grant access to.

Backers Request Access

Potential investors can review your public profile, and if interested, request access to view your Business Plan profile. Once access is granted, you'll be able to view when they have logged into your protected information, and if necessary, revoke access to your information at any point.

Investors must be Accredited Investors

In order to use the Fundable platform to contribute to an equity crowdfund, Investors must agree to the terms and conditions and affirm that they are an Accredited Investor. The current qualification to be an Accredited Investor is an earned income over $200,000 in the past two years ($300,000 if combined with spouse) or greater than $1 million net worth not including their primary residence.

Individuals need to agree that they meet these criteria when applying to be an investor on Fundable, so this designation is essentially self-identified. Here is a longer description of how the SEC defines Accredited Investors.
